|The Congressional App Challenge is hosted through the U.S. House of Representatives each fall and provides students across the country an opportunity to compete with their peers to create and showcase their software application, or “app,” for mobile, tablet or computer devises. The App Challenge is designed to encourage STEM involvement across the country and highlight the creativity and ingenuity of our young people.
Middle and High School students currently residing or attending school in Ohio’s 16th District are eligible to participate and may compete as individuals or in teams of up to four. A panel of local judges who work in the software and entrepreneurial fields will judge the district’s submissions. In addition to being displayed in a U.S. Capitol exhibit, the winning submissions will also be featured on the U.S. House of Representatives’ website (www.house.gov).
